I love live sound recording, especially if sound reinforcement is also required... this really keeps me on my toes. The live environment presents special challenges since there is usually only one shot to get it right and every event is different. I've found that the three key "P"s to success in a live event are planning, preparation and prayer... not necessarily in that order.
